I would never normally show the behind the scenes process while still working on a project for obvious reasons, so what’s different about this project? It’s my daughter Sienna’s 1^st birthday party and I thought it would be fun to share.

So here goes………

STAGE ONE: DESIGN BRIEF

I believe the  first birthday is not only a celebration for Sienna but for us as parents to celebrate getting through the first year. l would like look and feel to be slightly more sophisticated than the traditional first birthday party,  no themes, colours to be soft and pretty and no pink!

Due to lack of space and being in the winter months we are having a very small and intimate gathering of our close friends and family.

STAGE TWO: STYLE & COLOUR BOARD

Now that the design brief is clear time to get to work on a colour board.

Here you go…….Sienna’s 1st birthday colour board, I’m going with pastel peach, silver glitter, silver metallic, blush, grey and putty.
